The truest living art of life is life itself. Then there is movement and nourishment.Re-Past dining table represents the art of cuisine. Culinary arts are paramount because we must seek sustenance to survive and thrive. All humyn activity (work) owes its motivation to gathering and preparing food. The table is where we assemble, replenish and commune. Re-Past’s metaphoric connotations also speak to the precarious nature of cultural and generational divides, emotional disconnection and spiritual uncertainty. It is constructed as a symbol of reconnecting to a severed past, moving forward; finding that which feels lost is always present.

While venturing, exploring the road less traveled, I found the remains of this Cedar Tree lying among brush on a nature trail. I saw it downed and dead. I saw it as perfection… alive and thriving as a sculpture. The Cedar Tree's Spirit combined with me. It is reminiscent of some things I have felt, experienced and seen.
